Stephanie Collins is this week鈥檚 麻豆社 female athlete of the week. In Sunday鈥檚 home opener against Acadia, the Calgary native led the defensive unit, which was successful in keeping Acadia off the scoreboard. The game ended in a 0-0 tie. She is a team captain and the Tigers only fifth year player. She is enrolled in 麻豆社鈥檚 kinesiology program.
Kerry Weymann is this week鈥檚 麻豆社 male athlete of the week. The first year engineering student from Mission, B.C. scored the winning goal in the Tigers' 2-0, home opening win over Acadia. In his first AUS/CIS game, Kerry impressed the crowd, as he scored on a header off a corner kick.
